The unwelcome return of Covid and the Level Four lockdown means that
St. John's is closed until we reach Level Two. We will be offering online gatherings on Wednesday and Sunday via zoom.   For more information about these you can contact our Vicar - vicar@stjohnsroyaloak.net or follow us on Facebook.

While this Delta variant is scary and lockdowns are tough on many we can be grateful that our government has acted decisively and most Kiwis will act responsibly.  Let's stay warm and safe in our bubbles and hope that things will be back to normal soon.

Welcome

Kia ora, Malo e lelei, Namaste, Ni sa bula vinaka, Talofa lava, Karibuni!

Thank you for visiting our website.  St. John's is a friendly, multi-cultural, community church where you can be sure of a warm welcome.

We pray a variety of eucharistic services following the church year based on the NZ prayer book, and drawing also on other liturgical sources. Music plays an important role with modern songs and some traditional hymns.

There's a programme for young people every second Sunday and the building is used by two other churches and a great variety of other groups during the week.

Youth Group

Our youth group meets fortnightly on a Friday evening (from 6pm) during term time for food, fun, friendship and exploration of how faith and life connect. All are welcome - for more info contact the church office.
