St John's will gather again for in-person worship from this Sunday 31 May, the Feast of Pentecost!
We will begin with a Liturgy of the Word (not Eucharist), and safety measures will be in place such as 1m distancing, contact tracing, lots of cleaning, and no morning tea.
Wednesday worship will resume from 3 June.
Kia ora, Malo e lelei, Namaste, Ni sa bula vinaka, Talofa lava, Karibuni!
Thank you for visiting our website. St. John's is a friendly, multi-cultural, community church where you can be sure of a warm welcome.
We pray a variety of eucharistic services following the church year based on the NZ prayer book, and drawing also on other liturgical sources. Music plays an important role with modern songs and some traditional hymns.
There's a programme for young people every second Sunday and the building is used by two other churches and a great variety of other groups during the week.
Our youth group meets fortnightly on a Friday evening (from 6pm) during term time for food, fun, friendship and exploration of how faith and life connect. All are welcome - for more info contact the church office.
